부산아이파크가 2021 하나은행 FA CUP 2라운드에서 전주시민축구단을 상대로 2:1 승리하며 3라운드에 진출했다.

부산은 전주시민을 맞아 새로운 얼굴을 기용하며 4-4-2로 경기에 나섰다. 작년 동국대학교에서 2번의 대회를 우승으로 이끈 어정원이 프로 데뷔전을 치렀고 황준호가 1년여 만에 필드에 복귀하며 중앙 수비 라인을 지켰다. 한편 준프로로 입단해 꾸준히 경기에 나선 이태민은 첫 선발 라인업에 올랐다. 그동안 리그에서 뛰지 못한 선수들을 기용하며 새로운 포메이션을 가동했다.

부산은 전반전 내내 전방 압박을 이어가며 전주시민의 골문을 위협했다. 전반 9분 이상준의 슈팅이 골키퍼 맞고 튕겨 나오자 박정인이 바로 슈팅을 시도했지만 아쉽게 빗나갔다. 35분엔 박정인이 오른쪽 사이드에서 상대 수비 두 명을 제치며 단독 돌파 장면도 나왔지만 0:0 무승부로 전반을 마쳤다.

득점 없이 후반을 시작한 부산은 어정원을 빼고 이지승을 투입하며 중원을 강화했다. 뒤이어 후반 18분, 33분 안병준과 정훈성을 투입시켜 계속해서 공격을 이어나갔다. 드디어 후반 35분 드로젝이 왼쪽 페널티 에어리어 부근에서 찬 볼이 높은 궤적을 일으키며 선제골이 터졌다. 하지만 교체 투입된 전주시민의 윤문수에 동점골을 내주며 연장전에 돌입했다.

심신을 가다듬고 연장전에 임한 부산은 시작하자마자 이상준이 오른쪽에서 올린 크로스를 안병준이 바로 머리로 받아 역전골을 성공시켰다. 연장 후반 5분, 이상준의 부상으로 마지막 교체 카드로 준프로 조혜성을 투입한 부산은 결국 2:1로 승리했다. 120분의 혈투 끝에 3라운드에 진출한 부산은 다음 달 4월 14일(수) 성남FC와의 원정 경기를 치르게 됐다.

페레즈 감독은 “먼저 좋은 경기를 펼친 상대팀에 존경과 축하의 말을 건네고 싶다. 전반전을 마친 뒤 우리가 1주 간 준비한 게임 플랜을 다시 한 번 상기시켰고 후반전, 연장전에 그 모습이 나타날 수 있었던 것 같다. 두 골 전부 우리가 준비한 장면에서 시작된 골이라는 것은 좋은 장면이었다고 생각한다. 우리 선수들이 각자 믿고 또 본인을 더 믿는다면 다음 경기부터는 전반전부터 좋은 모습을 보여줄 수 있을 것이다”라며 경기 소감을 전했다.

Busan IPARK, Drozdek-Byongjun Ahn scored goals respectively, and it leads to a 2-1 victory over Jeonju Citizens in FA CUP

Busan IPARK advanced to the third round by winning 2:1 against Jeonju Citizen's Football Team in the second round of the 2021 Hana Bank FA CUP.
Busan used a 4-4-2 formation with new players against Jeonju citizens. Jungwon Eo, who led Dongguk University to the second championship last year, made his professional debut. Hwang Jun-ho returned to the field for the first time in more than a year, and he stood the central defensive line. Meanwhile, Taemin Lee, who joined the team as a semi-professional player and continued to play, made his first starting lineup. The team used players who had not played in the league and started a new formation.

Busan continued to do pressure on Jeonju City throughout the first half and tried to get a goal. In 9 minute of the first half, Sangjoon Lee's shot bounced off the goalkeeper, and Park Jeung-in tried to shoot right away, but unfortunately missed it. Jeungin Park overtook two defenders and made a good chance on the right side, but he didn't make it. Therefore, the result was 0:0 at the end of the first half. 

Busan, which started the second half without scoring a goal, strengthened its midfield by taking out Jungwon Eo and putting Jiseung Lee. Busan substituted Byongjun Ahn in the 18 minutes of the second half and Hoonsung Jung in the 33mintue of the second half to keep attacking in the forward. Eventually, Domagoj Drozdek, who scored a goal that made Busan leading the match, shoot on the left penalty area. However, the team gave up the equalizer to Yoon Moon-soo of Jeonju City, who was substituted.

At the beginning of the extra time, Ahn Byungjoon received a cross from Lee Sangjoon's right side and he scored with his head. In the 5 minutes of the extra time, Sangjoon Lee got injured, so Busan used the last substitute card to put in semi-pro Haesung Jo. Busan finally won 2:1. Busan, which advanced to the third round after 120 minutes of fierce fighting, will play an away match against Seongnam FC on April 14 (Wed).

Busan will try to win its second consecutive FA cup matches against the Ansan Greeners at Gudeok Stadium at 4 p.m. on April 3 (Sat).
