부산아이파크가 크로아티아와 독일에서 활약한 크로아티아 공격수 드로젝을 영입했다.

드로젝은 1996년생으로 크로아티아 디나모 자그레브와 독일 보루시아 도르트문트 유스팀을 거쳐 크로아티아 청소년 대표팀에 발탁된 경험이 있다. ’15-‘16시즌 도르트문트Ⅱ에서 프로 생활을 시작해 이후 크로아티아 리그 바라주딘, 로코모티바 자브레브에서 활약하며 106경기 36득점 6도움을 기록했다. 특히 ’17-‘18시즌 크로아티아 2부 바라주딘에서 27경기 16득점으로 득점왕과 MVP를 차지한 선수이다.

드로젝은 주로 왼쪽 측면에서 뛰는 윙어로 많은 슈팅과 드리블을 시도하고 크로스 정확도가 우수한 플레이 스타일을 갖고 있다. 공격을 주도할 때는 어느 자리에서나 슈팅이 가능하고, 바깥에서 공을 끌고 나가는 경우 크로스에 자신이 있다고 밝혔다. 또한 1:1 압박이 강한 상황에서 빈 공간으로의 침투에도 강점을 갖고 있다.

페레즈 감독은 부산에 오기 전부터 드로젝을 눈여겨 봤다고 밝혔다. “드로젝은 빠르고 강한 측면 플레이에 도움이 될 것으로 기대하고, 세트피스 상황에서도 좋은 킥력을 가지고 있어 전천후로 팀에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 보인다”라고 평가했다.

지난 18일 자가격리를 마치며 팀에 합류한 드로젝은 “평소 K리그에 좋은 인상을 가지고 있었다. 부산에 도착하자마자 클럽하우스 환경과 시설이 맘에 들었고 많은 분들이 반겨주었다. 페레즈 감독과 동료들이 믿어주는 만큼 100% 능력을 다해 매 훈련과 경기에 임할 것이다. 또한 좋은 결과를 얻어서 부산 팬들과 함께 기뻐하고 싶다”라며 먼 타지에서 새로운 도전을 하게 된 소감을 밝혔다.

Croatian League striker Domagoj Drozdek is the former best scorer and MVP, joined Busan IPARK.

Busan IPARK has acquired Croatian attacker Domagoj Drozdek who played in Croatia and Germany.

Drozdek was born in 1996. He played both Croatia's Dinamo Zagreb and Germany's Borussia Dortmund. This young Croatian prospect has been selected for the Croatian youth team. He began his professional career in Dortmund II in the 15-16 season and later played for Croatian club Barajuddin and Lokomotiva Zagreb, scoring 36 goals and 6 assists in 106 games. Especially, in the 17~18 season, he was the top scorer and MVP of Croatia's second-division side Barajuddin with 16 goals in 27 games.

This talented player prefers to play on the left side of the attack, and he tries to shoot, dribble and cross. When he leads the attack, he is confident with dragging the ball into the zone and shooting everywhere. Also, he finds a way outside of the zone and finishes with a cross. 

Mr. Ricardo's comment: "Domagoj Drozdek is a player who I have been paying attention to even before I came to Busan. Drozdek might help our team with the fast and strong side play we want. His kick is going to be our strong point which helps in a set-piece situation.

After finishing self-quarantine on the 18th of Feb, He had a short interview and commented that I always had a great impression in K League. Thank you for welcoming me, and also I love our clubhouse and environment at the very beginning.
