부산아이파크가 오는 2월 28일(일) 오후 4시 구덕운동장에서 서울 이랜드 FC를 상대로 하나원큐 K리그2 2021 개막전을 치른다.

한겨울 추운 날씨 속에서도 뜨거운 열정으로 동계 훈련을 마친 부산아이파크는 젊고 강한 팀으로 거듭나 부산 축구팬들에게 즐거움을 선사할 계획이다.

특히 새롭게 사령탑을 잡은 포르투갈 출신의 페레즈 감독과 서울E의 정정용 감독과의 지략 대결도 축구팬이라면 눈 여겨 볼 만하다.

부산은 올 시즌 새롭게 선임된 히카르도 페레즈 감독 체제로 탈바꿈했다. 이에 발 맞추어 현 올림픽 대표팀 소속의 안준수, 이상헌, 최준 등을 영입해 팀 역시 젊고 강한 팀으로 새로 시작할 준비를 마쳤다. 그리고 지난해 K리그2 MVP와 득점왕 타이틀을 획득한 최전방 공격수 안병준의 영입과 올림픽 팀에서 국가대표팀을 상대로 활약한 2000년생의 박정인, 부산 유스 시스템의 산실 김진규가 올림픽 대표팀 동계훈련 중 4경기에서 4골 1도움을 기록하는 등 2021시즌 시원한 골 폭격을 기대하게 한다.

이에 맞서는 서울E는 지난해 정정용 감독 체제로 팀의 기틀을 새롭게 잡았다는 평가다. 2019시즌 10위에 그쳤던 팀을 지난해 5위까지 끌어 올리며 다가오는 올 시즌을 기대케 했다. 지난 시즌 활약했던 멤버를 최대한 유지하며 베네가스, 바비오 등 외국인 선수들을 새롭게 포진시키며 2021시즌을 준비한 서울 이랜드이다.

양팀의 통산 전적은 9승 4무 3패로 부산이 우위다. 가장 최근에 맞붙은 2019시즌에는 부산이 서울E를 상대로 3승 1무를 기록하며 완승을 거둔바 있다. 하지만 정정용 체제로 거듭난 서울E와의 승부는 올 시즌이 처음이다.
